Program Description

That Traveler Guy™ operates an SMS messaging program to share travel tips, destination inspiration, exclusive deals, content updates, and community announcements with subscribers who have explicitly opted in.

How to Opt-In

You may opt into our SMS program by submitting your mobile phone number through an opt-in form on this website and checking the SMS consent checkbox. By doing so, you provide prior express written consent to receive recurring automated and non-automated marketing and informational text messages from That Traveler Guy™.

Consent is not a condition of purchase

You are never required to opt into SMS communications to purchase, access content, or use services offered by That Traveler Guy™.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 4 messages per month. Frequency may increase during special travel campaigns, events, or time-sensitive offers.

Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. That Traveler Guy™ is not responsible for any charges incurred through your carrier.

You may cancel SMS communications at any time by replying with any of the following keywords:

You may also opt out by emailing info@thattravelerguy.com with "STOP SMS" in the subject line. All opt-out requests will be honored promptly and within no more than 10 business days.

Supported Carriers

SMS service is available on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carrier support may vary.

All SMS communications from That Traveler Guy™ are strictly limited to travel-related content including destination guides, itinerary tips, cultural experiences, travel deals, and community updates.

That Traveler Guy™ does not and will not send SMS messages or publish website content related to the following prohibited categories:  ⛔

Adult or sexually explicit content

Hate speech or discrimination

Alcohol promotion

Firearms or weapons

Tobacco, cannabis, or vaping products 

These restrictions apply to all SMS campaigns, website content, and any marketing communications sent under the That Traveler Guy™ brand, in full compliance with carrier SHAFT-C guidelines and applicable federal regulations. 

You agree to use thattravelerguy.com for lawful purposes only. You may not use this site to transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content, attempt unauthorized access to any part of the site, or engage in any activity that disrupts or damages the site or its users.
